Questions and Answers
In small groups and large, in lounges, activity rooms and in the Café, residents enjoy Bingo, readings, discussions and movies. They sing along, reminisce, make ice cream floats, dance, celebrate milestone events and are entertained by musical talent. They engage in bowling, walk-a-thons, spelling bees, knitting circles and coffee klatches. Special interests are encouraged and supported.

  The year-old, luxurious, yet friendly Hyman J. Torf Café, just off the lobby, provides a cozy, communal setting for sipping coffee, small group activities, meeting friends and family or just relaxing. Uniformed wait staff serve beverages, fruit and fresh pastry from a laden buffet. The Café, open daily from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, is just one of the many "niceties" which make residents feel special.   Bingo  
 
   
             
 

  CJNH activity specialists excel in planning outings: elaborate barbecues, the formal senior prom, garden parties, Red Sox games, restaurant lunches, weekly bus rides, theater dates and the ultimate treat: the award-winning three-day vacations to resorts in Maine and Cape Cod, for even those with significant disabilities.
