Every resident regularly experiences a day of beauty, relaxation and comfort in our dazzling, state-of-the-art spa – the first of its kind in a skilled nursing facility anywhere. Established with a grant from the Massachusetts Office of Public Health and Human Services and through the generosity of the CJNH Women’s Auxiliary, the spa is a highlight of life at the “Home.”

Entering the spa, residents are greeted by a floor-to-ceiling waterfall bathed in pastel lights, backed with marble. A full time professional aesthetician, a manicurist and two hairdressers serve the 123 residents. All residents at CJNH (regardless of gender, physical or cognitive limitations) enjoy a spa visit every five weeks – entirely free of charge: exfoliation, eye brow waxing, a facial, manicure and pedicure, aroma therapy; hands, legs and upper body massage and hair care. Residents emerge pampered and glowing.
